There's a production going on in Toronto to the Merry Wives of Winsdor. I'd wondered why we never studied this play in high school and now I know - brilliantly naughty play. Highly recommend it. It was opening night last night and I got to go with friend Glenda. The play is at the United church on Bloor Street across from the Hudsons Bay. Hadn't even known there was a church there. The preshow entertainment outside included a rock balancer (yes, those strange guys you've seen at the beach), a display of a woman in white doing yoga, and a belly dancer in orange. I'm used to seeing pseudo belly dancers at parties - passabley talented, overweight, not exceptionally clean and always wearing something in the way of a track suit. This one was a treat. I want to take belly dancing.
Looking forward to a relatively calm weekend with only one planning meeting and one wedding. May actually get to garden, and increase fire proofing to the yards...
