Saturday was great, hit the market a little late but in time for cheese and butter. Taught a one hour presentation on ALS for hospice volunteers and got them good and creeped out. How many Canadians have died of bird flu according to WHO since 03? None, here anyway. How many people died of ALS today? 3, likely that were diagnosed. The rest of the death certificates may have read "pneumonia". Followed my lovely evening with fabulous friends, including British comedy, pasta and cheese, and drooling over Veronica's mad knitting skills. In colbolt blue partial silk wool. I may have actually drooled *on* it and for that I apologize. Sunday was all about two things: M and D's wedding - congrats, you beautiful people! It'll be on a TV show coming up apparently. And...getting my word count up and in for Nanowrimo 06. Because I'm a lunatic. Exhibit A:

Wish me luck. Failed miserably last year and although I'm off to a good start it'll be hard to keep the pace going. Also, I think the book might be about something else. Not sure.

*love like a chinchilla and a carrot*
I am so proud of you, girl.
I once did the 3day novel contest but nothing like that this year. My wrists get sore just thinking about it. Actually, they are stiff today and sore often. Must stop surfing and blogging...
I'm 17 532 words into a YA dystopia that I started in spring 2006. If this were NaNoWriMo I'd be done by now. Darn!
