So. Here I am, it's 5pm on Sunday and I've only got 30 pages out of a hopeful at least 90. Likely not going to nail down this opus today. However - it's 30 pages I might not have written had I not entered the contest (last minute, Friday at 3pm, not really with any sort of clue regarding what I was about to face) and the second of two outlines fleshed out this weekend. And I will finish them.
And I've learned a bunch about me and writing, likely as much as I would have had I attended an expensive workshop or some such thing. And I will keep writing today AND I will enter this highly advisable contest next year. And next year:
1) I will not work two of the three days I have at another job.
2) I will stock the house with supplies such as food before beginning, and ensure I have a place to work.
3) I will not, under any circumstances, run out of coffee.
